2015 Winners
In 2015, Grade 8/Secondary 2 classes were asked to make a one-minute video about one of Parks Canada’s many sites. Many amazing entries were submitted, making it very difficult for the judges to pick this year’s winners. Congratulations to everyone who entered.
Grand Prize:
Caledonia Regional High School of Hillsborough, New BrunswickMs. Doucet’s creative grade 8 students from Caledonia Regional High School of Hillsborough, New Brunswick will be going on an once-in-a-lifetime trip to explore La Mauricie National Park and the historic sites of Québec City. Their creative and engaging video highlighted the natural and cultural beauty of Fundy National Park, ensuring that all viewers finished watching with more knowledge of the Park as well as a smile on their face. Congratulations for a job very well done!

Students from Val Marie School in Val Marie, Saskatchewan showed us the wonder and excitement that can be experienced at Grasslands National Park. From protecting wildlife to learning about important historical events, these students highlighted all that this park has to offer.

Banff National Park has captured the attention of millions of visitors, including the grade 8 students of Lawrence Grassi Middle School of Canmore, Alberta. They showed viewers exactly what draws people to the first National Park in Canada and its importance to Canadians.
Shaughnessy Park School of Winnipeg in Manitoba
Shaughnessy Park School of Winnipeg, Manitoba taught viewers the important role that Lower Fort Garry National Historic Site played in developing the Canada that we know today. This highly informative video was executed well and brought history back to life.
